Paperwork Explained
Just like the UK, there is a small amount of paperwork and form filling to do to ensure your marriage abroad is legal.
If you are booking your wedding through a travel agent or wedding planner, they will take care of most of this for you. Similarly most hotels will be able to advise.

When you get married abroad, you will be given a marriage certificate from the country your wedding has been held in. You won’t therefore have a British Marriage certificate, but there are ways of lodging your certificate with the British Authorities here in the UK too.
