Kamalame Cay - Bahamas

Simple, laid back luxury at its best. Kamalame is a privately owned island hideaway where the staff go that extra mile to deliver a once in a lifetime, castaway experience. Bring your bare feet and sun cream and they'll provide the rest. You won't want to leave.

All inclusive Kamalame Cay is a 96-acre private island hideaway with three miles of sugar-soft sandy beach, just off the coast of Andros Island in the Bahamas. This barrier island is accessible only by the owners private ferry or seaplane.

Colonial meets rustic chic in Kamalame's 19 villas and cottage suites - which keeps guest numbers to a respectable 36. For the ultimate escape there's Kamalame Cove, a four-bed private house across the water. Guests can either take all the meals at the house or eat in the main restaurant. The Cove has its own compliment of staff.

Kamalame also boasts some of the best fishing and diving around. Or if you get bored of the water, there's tennis and guided Eco tours around the island. And of course, there's Kamalame's beautiful spa.
